Mike Ryan, founder of Route 23 Auto Sales & Detailing, has spent his entire career in the automotive industry. For more than 25 years, Mike ran a successful Pontiac, Buick, and GMC dealership known as Randy Hosler Pontiac Buick GMC, building a reputation for integrity, expertise, and customer-first service.

When Pontiac was discontinued, the dealership was forced to close its doors — a moment that presented Mike with a defining crossroads. He could take his decades of experience in vehicle buying and dealership operations to another large franchise, or he could take a leap of faith and build something of his own from the ground up.

Mike chose the latter.

In 2013, driven by passion and a vision for a more honest, community-focused dealership, Mike founded Route 23 Auto Sales & Detailing. He brought his son, Dylan, into the business, turning decades of experience into a family legacy. Together, they set out with a simple but powerful goal — to offer quality vehicles, fair pricing, and a transparent, low-pressure buying experience rooted in trust and long-term relationships.

Today, Route 23 Auto stands as a reflection of Mike’s lifelong dedication to the automotive business, the values he believes in, and the customers and community he proudly serves.
